Mary Sablick

Mary Sablick, our office manager and top legal secretary, is the longest serving member of the Heller & Richmond, Ltd. team.  She began her tour of duty with the original family law firm that evolved into Heller & Richmond, Ltd. over 50 years ago.  Yes, Mary’s loyalty and top notch skills have served our lawyers and clients since John F. Kennedy was the president of the United States!  She has dedicated her life to the Heller & Richmond, Ltd. family and we are fortunate to have her with us. 

Mary is one of those old-fashioned secretaries, who know as much about the practice of law as some lawyers.  Her skills include preparation of legal documents such as complaints at law, subpoenas, deeds, etc.  Her typing and short-hand take a back seat to her knowledge of the court system and how to get things done.  She and her typewriter can outperform most young secretaries on their state of the art computers.

Heller & Richmond, Ltd. and their clients can feel confident knowing that Mary Sablick is hard at work on their behalf.

Dorota Jagodynska

Dorota first joined the Heller & Richmond, Ltd. family in the year 2000.  She obtained her American Bar Association approved Paralegal Certificate from Roosevelt University that same year.  Throughout her many years with the firm her responsibilities have grown to include her expert assistance in the preparation of many of our client’s personal injury claims, as well as key administrative support in our law firm operations.  Dorota works directly with our clients to insure that all case related information such as medical records, bills, lost income reports and necessary investigation are properly documented to help enable our lawyers to obtain a maximum recovery on their case.  Dorota is fluent in both Polish and English, which has helped open the doors to our international community of clients.  She is a bright and highly skilled and important member of our team.

Guiliana “Guili” Mendoza

Guili has been the friendly helpful voice on our end of the phone since 2007.  This intelligent young woman goes out of her way to make sure that each caller is directed to the proper party and that their needs have been met.  Clients and other office visitors are grateful to be greeted by her cheerful expression when they walk in our doors.  Her kindness has allowed her to develop strong and caring relationships with many of our clients.  She is fluent in both Spanish and English, which brings an added level of comfort to our many Spanish speaking callers. 

Guili’s responsibilities go way beyond simply answering the phone.  Her sharp mind has allowed her to take on other duties.  She provides vital assistance in the preparation of bankruptcy petitions, as well as personal injury matters.  Her input on litigation matters help to keep a case on track, as it moves through the court system.

Andrea Giammicchio

Over the years Heller & Richmond, Ltd. has employed dozens of law school students as law clerks to assist with the litigation aspects of our practice.  These opportunities provide valuable training to our aspiring lawyers, as well as critical assistance to our experienced lawyers.  Our current law clerk, Andrea, is currently enrolled in law school and is anticipating her degree of Juris Doctor in the spring of 2012.  We are happy to have Andrea as part of our legal team.
